Mr. GS Rammohan, Output Editor has left hmtv, even before its launch, almost after completion of one year there. Some conspiracy theories are doing the rounds behind his quitting. It is learnt that he met the Managing Director cum CEO cum Editor in Chief of the channel Mr. Murthy and explained the reasons for quitting. However, the exact details of the discussion is yet to be known. Soon after coming out, Mr. Rammohan straightaway went to Andhra Jyothi and joined their channel as its Associate Editor. People close to him confirm that he would be more comfortable with Andhra Jyothi management where he worked for more than 5 years. With Mr. Rammohan's exit, HMTV lost a senior man in the organisation. The loss is considerable since a person in the key post left just a couple of days before its launch (on 12th ?) but the other Heads have put a brave face saying that the launch would be as scheduled. However, news is that the launch will be only in the second half of January ( with an excuse of Dhanurmasam ).

Why hatred against HMTV ? It is going to be a great channel with bulletins in 3 languages. Only a few left the channel because they got offers from other channels. They are unethical people. We have three efficient writers with us - Devipriya, Umamaheswarrao and sridharbabu. Kareem and Sagar are waste.. wait and see our channel.

But its a lesson, we all should learn. i.e. understanding the channels, journalism, business of media, ethics in these elements.
Let's see, if there is any basic understanding of media.
Media is meant for people, and a broadcaster/publisher is an aggregator of viewers/readers.
The reader/viewer pays for the content directly by subscription or is paid by the advertisers, whose ads are seen by these viewers.
Now you see, how much advt money will by multiplied in proportion to the no. more channels?
already the advt revenue is going to come down by atleast 30%.
So does it make any sence for more channels??

Promotters are depending heavily on blackmailing, riding on the viewers sympathies, elections, ulterior business intersets, protecting the illegal businesses they do.
Here comes the fraterninty of these kind of journos, who are very close to the masters they work.
That means same ways of illegal, unethical and unproffessional conduct.
They make themselves to the top by telling cock n bull stories and projecting themselves as intellectuals and top professionals.
Most of these kind of people run parallel businesses.
In major decisions, they make lacs of money, as these new promoters are busy calculating future money they are going to earn by wholesale mortgage of people.
At this channel of subject, three guys are a gang and are almost looting every opprtunity.one is key in purchases of tech, one in creative and others dept i am not sure.
Murthy wants to make history!

He is going to be history with this project.
There are more Ram Mohans and no clue of where it will end.
Every one is taking in their own way for their benfits. Make hay when su shines, so the looting is faster and brighter!
Damanges, all these elements make to telugu media and some good guys like Murthy is enormous and long term.
