TV5 crosses ETV 2

TV5 is second among Telugu News Channels now. Ofcourse, it is only half of the leader TV9. Though it is closely followed by ETV2, its contemporary NTV is far behind. The consistent performance of TV5 is observed during the last two months.

When Chiranjeevi announced his Prajarajyam at Tirupati, NTV  got his exclusive interview and got good ratings also. It was the leader on that day. TV5 was very unhappy with this and was angry with Chiranjeevi. Later when Katti Padmarao's issue came up, TV5 has decided to dig TRPs out of it and finally succeeded. This was a signal to the PrajaRajyam camp that if exclusives are given, others will not spare them.

The war is likely to be fierce hereafter. Seems ETV2 has backed out and slowly moving out of the race. In the Entertainment channels also, ETV is in its 5th place in the latest TAM reports after Gemini, Teja, Maa and Zee Telugu.

Soon the ratings will change again.
All the News TV channels will become like political parties in AP.
I-news is weak at programing
HMTV is video version of print medium( news paper).
TV-9 has no ethics
TV5 is anti establishment
NTV is mediocre.
IVR - no clue
Sakshi -no need to mention.
and ...it goes on...

Dear blogger

As this blog says Telugutvnews, please give news of other entertainment channels also.
It became monotonous as it its concentrating only on news channels, journalists, poaching, salaries, criticizing their personality etc. Request you also throw light on other channels, quality, programming strategies, how to save our channels from Tamil TV etc.
Please add a TV guide also. I know its painful job but it adds value to your blog.

Dear blogger, you announced once that you would post the ratings or market share every week. It has been ages ago that you made that announcement but I haven't seen any execution.

ETV is struggling these days with new programming but soon it will climb the charts. There are very nice programs being aired now like Dhee, Okkare, Toorpu velle railu, Lakshyam, and few more.
